TALARICO FOR SENATE

James is an eighth-generation Texan, former middle school teacher, and Presbyterian seminarian. As a state representative, he’s led the fight against the billionaire mega-donors and puppet politicians who have taken over Texas.

Now, he’s running for U.S. Senate to take his fight against corruption to Washington and win power back for working people.

Talarico on AI: I've rolled out a plan to crack down on giant data center companies. We've got to force them to pay for their own energy instead of jacking up our utility bills. And we've got to force them to recycle their water so they are not exacerbating the water crisis here in Texas.

Talarico on the national debt: It's not just an economic and political emergency, it is a moral emergency because we are stealing from future generations. We are often told that the only way to tackle the, the deficit or the debt is by doing it on the backs of working people, and that's not true. We can close the deficit and we can do it by closing billionaire tax loopholes.

Talarico: We currently see in Texas women dying in emergency room parking lots from sepsis because their doctors are too afraid to provide life saving care. We talk about Texas women, but it's also Texas girls. We see girls as young as 10 years old who need that abortion care and they can't get it in Texas. And so if we are authentically pro-life, I think we should be disturbed by the outcomes of this extreme abortion ban.
